I was brought into Kensington Vanguard to two simultaneous positions—Vice President, Orders Manager, and Vice President, Business Analyst (see below). My role within orders management is unique in that I lead a team that touches every transaction handled by our company. Thus, our influence is tremendous, and my Vice President leadership is significant. Kensington Vanguard is a large full-service real estate title insurance agency with expertise in:> Real estate title insurance (residential and commercial)> Real property & cooperative lien searches> Settlement, Escrow, Recording, and 1031 Exchange servicesUnder my authority, and with my reporting directly to our Chief Operating Officer (COO), we have improved our bottom line through tremendous operations efficiency:> Holding our real estate title insurance company and our 500+ vendors to higher standards to achieve client-focused SLAs.> Working directly with SoftPro as one of its largest corporate users to craft a custom solution fostering efficiencies in order lifecycle management.As Vice President of diverse teams of up to 10+, I centralized our team strategy and put in place a clear sense of accountability. Measuring our progress via specific KPIs, the number of people we have had promoted, and the extent to which we have attracted attention for success within the real estate title insurance business continues to be some of the most exciting work we are doing.

As stated above, I have been holding this Vice President position simultaneously with the Vice President, Orders Manager role and reporting directly to our Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this Vice President position, I lead a team of 5 (auditor, configuration specialist, data analyst, systems administrator, and procedure specialist) to support our real estate title insurance business. I am a powerful advocate of integrating Business Intelligence (BI) and SoftPro (real estate and title software), and much of my work centers on these two pivotal technologies.Liaising between the technology and the operations teams, I am the point person for determining technology strategies that elevate and support our workflows. Also, I ensure that our business process improvement and technology transformation protocols are fully compliant in a highly regulated industry. Also, as our business grew, we had to accommodate a huge influx of data and clients, so engaging the right types of technologies and IT automations was key to our revenue and ROI.Examples of recent transformative strategies that I have led include:> Real-time, compliant reporting, through integrating BI and SoftPro via cost- and resource-efficient protocol that places essential information directly in the hands of decision makers. Some of these reports now prepared in minutes were previously available only with a 30-day lead time.> Designing team strategies to support our technology-first operations program, including training our existing people on new operations programs and hiring new teams to streamline our work.

Vice President Operations and Business Analysis.

Reporting to our Chief Information Officer (CIO), I envisioned, initiated, and realized several programs destined to accelerate our real estate title insurance business through operational efficiency. I had my finger on the pulse of our core operating protocols and technologies, building transformative processes into and alongside 2 system upgrades in 1 year and our approach to new market opportunities: > On the revenue side, supporting development and launch of an instant title process heavily reliant on technology integrations (APIs).> Also on the product side, helping to relaunch our REO (Real Estate Owned) business, and recasting it into a new location with much greater efficiency.> Reframing an existing operations team from a cost center to a revenue neutral position, recognizing their work was key to our corporate success> Bringing in essential outsourced talent to deliver 2 system upgrades (in truth, institution of entirely new operating systems) with minimal business disruptions
