Over the past 20 years, I've dedicated my career to becoming an expert in the niche field of compliance and ABAC specifically, assisting major corporations in either restoring or preserving their business integrity within the intricate landscape of corporate ethics.The impetus behind the establishment of STEER LLC—a venture I co-founded in 2014 and STR Compliance (founded in 2023) was to provide anti-bribery management services to companies in need of expert and strategic guidance. STEER offers effective, authentic, exceptional service, the cornerstones of success. We support global enterprises to assess the maturity of their compliance programs and enhance their practices. My prowess in global corporate compliance, particularly in anti-bribery and anti-corruption (ABAC) programs, stems from my extensive experience as a Master Auditor of ISO 37001 and many years of compliance executive leadership with Fortune 500 companies, followed by advising/consulting and auditing these companies after starting my own business.Notably, I had the privilege of spearheading the design and implementation of an Investigations Department tailored to the needs of major international companies, with a focus on fostering efficiency, reliability, and consistency on a global scale. This endeavor involved strategically integrating the Investigations Department into our overall corporate governance processes. Once put into action, the department yielded prompt, transparent results, which led to actionable disciplinary and remedial actions.My goal was to ensure that the executive team remained approachable, professional, and direct. We were able to establish a framework that upheld the highest standards of corporate ethics and compliance, ultimately contributing to the success of multi-national enterprises. Our success led to recognition from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and further cemented our reputation as the authority in ABAC consulting.My professional journey is one dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in the realm of Corporate Compliance and Anti-bribery/Anti-corruption Programs.
