Managing the design and delivery of a range of technical solutions for a diverse range of clients. - Developing and sustaining excellent relationships with clients in order to ascertain key requirements, involving: developing an advanced understanding of the client’s business (from both a technical and commercial perspective) and ensuring all proposed solutions/products work in accordance with client business objectives. - New business development: working closely with a diverse range of individuals (including Sales Directors, CFOs, CEOs and COOs) to develop a range of technical solutions in accordance with key business requirements and negotiating all areas of pricing and project timescales.- Leading a team of Project Engineers to ensure effective project delivery in accordance with all client requirements and Where required, supporting Project Engineers in the resolution and investigation of any technical issues.- Managing the Procurement Manager and overseeing all areas of day to day delegation, coaching/mentoring, recruitment and performance management. - Research and product development: heading up the research and development function in the business to assess, test and deliver new products and services into the existing portfolio, thus promoting continued innovation. - Liaising with suppliers to negotiate costs and discuss new and upcoming technologies/products.
