In junior high school, I provided support to the Japanese Teachers of English, which included lesson planning, marking homework, interview activities with the students and in class pronunciation support. Additionally, I worked with kindergarten students, students with behavioural issues and learning difficulties and ran evening classes for adult learners. The role was not limited to the classroom however, and I participated in an array of cultural activities such as a Japanese fashion show, sushi making, climbing Mt. Fuji, language and cultural exchange with community members and a great deal more.
