As a Town & Country Planner working within the Anglian Water @One Alliance my key responsibility is to provide practical planning expertise and guidance to enable successful and efficient delivery of schemes across the business. • My role at MJCA is to provide technical input to the Environmental Planning Department in respect of planning policy, legislation, EIA, environmental audits and environmental permitting. This involves:
• Collation of information required to support planning applications and applications for waste management licences and PPC permit applications
• Provide informed contribution to the work of the department
• Preparation of letters, reports or other written work as required by the Company
• To undertake responsibility for project performance and control.
• Timely preparation of invoices to clients

I subcontracted to this company as an ecologist and field surveyor. In this role I, with a team, conducted and organised bat activity and emergence surveys, Great Crested Newt surveys and reptile surveys for a broad range of clients on different projects. I have also worked on preliminary bat and barn owl surveys.

As a field worker my roles have been to conduct Great Crested Newt and bat activity surveys.

This was a self-employed position where I subcontracted as an ecologist and field surveyor. For this consultancy I carried out numerous protected species surveys with a team of ecologists for a range of different clients on some major projects.
