Cloud Devops Engineer
CurrentThe role encompasses the use of broad range of AWS technologies, operating systems and application environments (RDS-MySQL, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins and Git), with an emphasis on the implementation of best practices of cloud security principles.• Deploying automating, maintaining and managing AWS cloud-based production systems to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of production systems.• Configure, Build and release management of production systems.• Pre-production Acceptance Testing to help assure the quality of our products / services.• System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.• Suggesting architecture improvements and recommending process improvement.• Set up CI/CD pipelines for Micro-services and integrated tools such as ECS, Maven, GitHub, SonarQube, Nexus, Docker, Slack for providing immediate feedback to DEV teams after code check-in.• Build end to end CI/CD Pipelines in Jenkins to build CI/CD Pipeline and code deployment guide for Developers, Testers and Production management.• Working with Docker- docker hub, pulling images from Docker hub, running containers based on an image, creating Dockerfile to manage customized containers, exposing a container with port redirect, container volume management, docker inspect, docker commit to capture the file changes/settings into a new image and pushing the image to ECR.• Using Infrastructure as a code to deploy AWS infrastructure with Terraform Modules for resource provisioning as well as managing security policies.• Used Terraform to provision application infrastructures employing tools like Autoscaling Groups, Security Group, VPC, CloudWatch.• Configure fleet of instances in a mock deployment environment and apply patches at scale using automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.• Deploying micro-service applications to Kubernetes Cluster in AWS. Splunk, Jira, Confluence, Agile Methodology.
