The Odoptu Stage 2 Project, a subset of Sakhalin-1, is a $7.5 billion expansion of an existing onshore facility, tying in a new wellsite and adding gas compression, gas lift and water injection trains.

Oversaw Engineering activities for fabrication and commissioning of large process modules totaling 25,000 metric tons at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) in Ulsan, S Korea. Fabrication contract value ~$350M.

Led engineering efforts for the design of 7 large process modules totaling ~10,000 metric tons. Provided leadership and guidance to the engineering team and managed all associated interfaces across Fabrication, Regulatory and Operations. Helped foster a "fit-for-purpose", "minimal change" mentality among a 500+ EPC team, which was instrumental in facilitating high quality and timely completion of Engineering and Design deliverables; scope completed 3 weeks ahead of schedule.

Stewarded multi-disciplinary Project issues and deliverables throughout Detailed Design and was actively involved in the development and implementation of surveillance plans for a 500+ EPC team. Identified and implemented design optimizations leading to Project cost savings in excess of $45M.Successfully led several in-country negotiations with Russian Design Institutes (RDI's), rendering an unprecedented level of approved design deviations and Project cost savings in excess of $30M. Managed EPC's engineering and permitting activities for a $300M scope comprised of three (3) strain-based design, onshore flowlines and a utility corridor connecting the North and South wellsites. Role required extensive coordination across multiple disciplines and organizations, including: Regulatory, Construction, Operations, Flow Assurance, Reservoir and Facilities. Simultaneous to the above, assumed the EMDC Subsea & Pipelines Recruiting Coordinator role; interviewed and evaluated numerous candidates and coordinated efforts between HR and management to facilitate a highly successful recruiting campaign.

Sakhalin-1 Odoptu FSP Piltun Bay Pipeline Remediation Project: Stewarded Engineering and Execution scopes for a $20M pipeline remediation project. Developed the Project Execution Plan, oversaw remediation activities at site, facilitated Risk Assessments and defined an integrity monitoring program to ensure the on-bottom stability of the pipeline over its operating life.Sakhalin-1 Arkutun-Dagi Offshore Pipeline Project:Assisted in the planning and execution of pre-commissioning activities for two 20'' x 25km offshore pipelines. Acted as the site engineering rep throughout the commissioning campaign and coordinated execution activities with the Offshore Installation team. Ca Voi Xanh (Blue Whale) Project:Led 'concept select' pipeline engineering efforts for a gas development project offshore Vietnam. Conducted desktop routing studies, assisted in the technical evaluation of various development concepts, developed detailed cost estimates and defined the scope of work for an offshore geotechnical and geophysical survey campaign.General Interest - EMDC Pipeline/Riser Network Coordinator:Led the coordination of quarterly face-to-face meetings that brought together up to 200 professional members from across the corporation to share best practices and lessons learned as well as facilitate technical interaction between various ExxonMobil organizations.
