Don't hesitate do contact me. Most of my projects starts in early concept stage to define the new product it's look, it's user, its function and its identity. The normal project starts with a design research to identify needs, customers, competion and guidelines like branding or design manuals for the product. I use hand drawn sketches for initial ideas and I use CAD modelling to give them 3D properties for rendering and prototyping. When the design concept is defined I prepare the modells for manufacuring. This is where most of the design engineering take place which is the main part of the product development process. New technichal ideas and requirements will arise and the concept will be adjusted accordingly to improve performance, still working within the frames of the given design concept. Mechanical function, tolerances, manufacturing requirements, material properties and cost will be taken in to account. New prototypes are made and the product is tested to meet the requirements. Technical drawings are finally made that will be the foundation for communication with toolmakers and manufacturers. My projects usually involve project management to some extent, I am in close contact with suppliers and production, working towards mile poles of time and cost stated in the product specification. My roul as the design engineer at Fagerhult was a highly central roal for the making of the produkt and also part of the leading of the projects.
