Daniel is a highly motivated final-year medical student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University. His passion for public health and research has led him to gain diverse experiences in healthcare delivery, research, and community service.He has volunteered with an NGO, delivering free cervical cancer screenings for rural women in Imo State, and worked as an office assistant in the Federal Ministry of Health. His research experience includes contributing to the development of the 2019 and 2020 National Health Account Reports, as well as assisting with the Anambra and Lagos States multi-year healthcare expenditure and household surveys. In these roles, he focused on data collection, analysis, collation, and report writing.Currently, he works as an intern at Ontime Consortium, a research organization dedicated to generating evidence for grassroots and community-level healthcare planning. He was part of a Google-funded project assessing in-transit delays faced by pregnant women in low- and middle-income countries.With a background in leadership roles during his time as the Local Exchange Officer for the National Association of Medical Students (Nnamdi Azikiwe Chapter) and as the Financial Secretary and Technical Lead for Public Health, he demonstrated strong organizational and leadership skills in facilitating medical outreach programs. He is now focused on furthering his career in medicine, research, and public health.
