Built and expanded a global, exclusive OEM commercial aftermarket distribution with 35 OEM distribution partnerships. Extensive experience in technical sales, business development, and business unit P&L ownership. Experience with both military and commercial OEM partnerships and both OEM & FAA/PMA part sales, business development including source qualification, new product development, repairs, and retrofit campaigns involving high touch focus. Additional areas of focus include commercial and military build-to-print manufacturing as a tier-one OEM manufacturer (including initial vendor qualification).Extensive experience with commercial airlines and maintenance facilities worldwide as well as US Department of Defense customers including the Defense Logistics Agency, US Air Force, US Navy/Marines, US Army, US National Guard and US Coast Guard (DHS). Have dealt with most of the major aerospace prime contractors for US Government and FMS programs. Intimately familiar with DOD acquisition procedures, FAR compliance, EAR/ITAR compliance, contract negotiation and management as well as initial source qualification process with a high success rate on Source Approval Requests (SARs) to US DOD customers from which over 2,000 SAR packages submitted for both parts and repairs over the course of my career. Supported customers in 90+ countries over the years including sales to foreign governments, commercial airlines and maintenance centers alike. Experience extends beyond aerospace sector to deal with industrial and marine gas turbine engines with special emphasis on aero-derivative gas turbines.Specialty includes setting growth strategy, proactive business generation and new program development in entirely new segments, product lines entailing program identification, business case analysis, program planning and contract negotiation and active project management through product realization and revenue realization. P&L management includes driving labor productivity through standard work and technology.
