Joined startup at early stage.° Designed and implemented a data-visualisation dashboard for realtime inspection of transactions processed by main B2B product.

I served as the sole and lead developer for a proprietary Extract Transform Load (ETL) tool intended for licensing to external agencies. The tool was designed to streamline data processes, ensuring efficient extraction, transformation, and loading of large CSVs, tailored to meet unique requirements of our clients. I executed the following:° Extensively researched requirements and audited workflow orchestration tools such as Luigi and Airflow to arrive at a solution that was simple yet easy to configure.° Designed the architecture of the tool to include a YAML-based metadata configuration module as well as a user friendly GUI and CLI interface.° Implemented the ETL workflow and collaborated with another engineer to implement the GUI and CLI interfaces.° Deployed application to Windows servers,During my stint, I gave periodic talks to the Python team on “The Python Object Model” and “Introduction to Functional Programming with Python.”Besides my primary responsibilities, I executed day-to-day maintenance and automated provisioning of Linux servers as required using custom Ansible scripts.

Whilst a student, I worked as an engineer on a team of two to lead the development of the myPA Android application. This innovative app was designed to facilitate the accountability of Nigerian legislators, enabling them to present a transparent and comprehensive public profile of their activities and office operations.I executed the following:° Developed the backend and REST API for the application on the Google AppEngine Platform using Java.° Co-developed Android application to meet usability and functional requirements.° In addition to technical development, I took the initiative to propose valuable user experience (UX) improvements. These suggestions aimed at transforming the app into a more engaging and social platform, enhancing its usability and encouraging greater interaction among users.
