Leading the Knowledge Transfer Partnership project between Liverpool John Moores University and Destination Youth Ltd. The aim of the project is to collate and generate cutting-edge research to validate and inform the development of company products and services to encourage behaviour change in young people.This involved liaising with application developers to build a web-based application to monitor health behaviours. Conducting and writing up experimental studies to validate and inform the development of the application. Continually refining the application. Preparing training guides, marketing and sales materials to support commercial release of product.

Liaising with world-renowned scientists and commissioning review articles for online publication. Communicating with scientists over the phone and by email. Editing review articles on hot topics in biology. Contributing to blog articles and social media.

Health promotion and social marketing intern:Promoting health within varied communities, explaining the benefits of having health checks, encouraging members of the public to have a check and providing support to patients -- giving them lifestyle and health advice where necessary.Health promotion co-ordinator:Organising health check events in the Islington area. Approaching local companies, councils etc. for them to hold health promotion events on their premises. Organising equipment for events, overseeing the nurses and the smooth running of the whole event.

Demonstrating and aiding undergraduates in sports science lab practicals. Instructing groups of students on how to conduct experiments, demonstrating various sports science equipment and marking papers.
