My role as a Student Assistant Manager gave me invaluable experience with both leadership and working in a fast-paced environment. In this role, I oversaw a team of up to ten student employees and learned how to best match their strengths to each role. While doing so, I ensured that all food safety protocols were followed and that we minimal to no interruptions to food service.

This position allowed me to become more familiar with working in a laboratory setting. As a lab technician, I prepared samples for Cobb, Edge Crush, and other corrugated tests by using precision cutting implements. Additionally, I performed the tests themselves while following all standard operating procedures.
