Develop backend Java services for the Referral Management solution to support new clinical referral transactions consumed by a JS frontend as well as future, REST-based applications. Troubleshoot centralized production splunk logs on a weekly rotation. Wrote new performance tests as well as uplifted all legacy transaction performance tests. Helped develop a web-based, applicant tracking system for the UX Testing team to help facilitate UX studies for Cerner solutions.

Consulting - Clinical Foreign System Integration (FSI) teamDeveloped and implemented real-time HL7 interfaces to facilitate data transfer between Cerner Millennium and foreign, clinical systems. Extensive scripting done in CCL to both query Millennium database as well as HL7 formatted clinical data. Assisted in client training as well as transition to the contracted support organizations.Addressed development needs within Cerner’s Consulting organization to support the new Public Health Surveillance solution, a CDC reporting solution. Wrote scripting to uplift Cerner’s HL7 outbound messages to meet the CDC’s reporting requirements by querying for additional clinical data, formatting data, and adding standard nomenclatures to reportable data elements.
