As a principal, I have broad experience in business development and operations. Over the past 38 years, I have served as a director, chief operating officer, and chief financial officer for a variety of companies, including manufacturing, distribution, telecommunications, retail, hotels, real estate, construction, environmental remediation, energy, technology, and government contracting and procurement. I received a BS in Finance from Portland State University in 1986. From 1986 to 2002, I was the Executive Vice President responsible for acquiring eleven significant transactions with a total equity investment of $75 million and a total business value of approximately $400 million. I have been involved in all aspects of business financing, from private equity offerings to public offerings, including secured and unsecured debt instruments. I have been involved in every aspect of acquisitions, from sourcing businesses to acquiring the business and their ultimate divestiture. I have experience in Chapter 11 reorganizations and have purchased companies from Chapter 11 estates through reorganization. This includes the management of companies in Chapter 11 as both an officer and director of a reorganized company and as a corporate creditor in reorganization. Since the early 2000s, I have expanded my international business experience and relationships that have taken me to Japan, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Luxemburg, Switzerland, Bahrain, KSA, UAE, Egypt, and several other African Countries. As a consultant, I have provided advice and feasibility studies to Tribal Governments in the Rocky Mountain and Great Plains Regions. I am on the Advisory Board of Lower Brule Community Development Enterprises for the economic and business development entity of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe of South Dakota.
