I am a 22 year old university student at Deakin University, studying a Bachelor of Business (Sport Management) and would one day like to work at the Olympics and other international sporting events.I have a huge passion for sport ever since i was a young kid, growing up i began alternating between playing cricket and AFL during the summer and winter before i eventually stopped and went on to play basketball for the rest of my junior years, and i still currently play today!I am currently employed at Rebel Sport Highpoint where i am a part time team member, i have been there for 6 years and it has given me a variety of skills such as reliability, communication, punctuality, responsibility, the ability to be able to serve customers to the highest standard as well as deal with customers if they have been unhappy with the service provided. Additionally i work as a basketball referee for both the Broadmeadows Basketball Association and Basketball Victoria, which assists me in my ability to present myself on the court, be able to establish excellent communication with the person i may be officiating with, as well as dealing with conflict resolution, in particular with unhappy players, coaches and spectators.I just recently completely a year studying abroad at the University of Oklahoma, which gave me incredible connections and life experience that money can’t buy, I worked in the event management sector of OU Athletics and worked various sporting events such as football games and concerts that I wouldn’t be able to do back home.
