I am a research scientist working in biomedical engineering. My background is in mathematics and computer science. I specialize in computational modelling and optimization mostly for biomedical imaging and image analysis. I have particular expertise in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), particularly for brain imaging. Key applications of my work are in basic neuroscience; neurological diseases, such as multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease and other dementias; and cancer imaging. I have been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate lecture courses and supervising projects at undergraduate, PhD and post-doc level since 2000.
