Graduating at the onset of Covid-19 was a daunting task, but I jumped at the opportunity to help those whose business needs changed during those trying times. While working for FM Global I had the opportunity to see how a variety of industries operated behind the scenes, including equipment maintenance, facility infrastructure testing, and emergency plans. Due to my background with my previous jobs and education, I felt I could more effectively put my skills to use, so I made a career shift. I was contacted by Stevanato Group regarding a start-up facility in the medical glass industry and was very intrigued by the company's expansion and growth potential. I had the opportunity to train at their global headquarters in Piombino Dese, Italy, for the better part of eighteen months, where I got to experience an international work environment. During that time I worked my way through the entry level operator positions up through production engineering. Working in all of these positions gave me the knowledge to train future operators at the newly constructed North American Headquarters. The facility is in full swing with start-up activities and I can't wait to see what the future holds for the company's first USA EZ-fill manufacturing facility.
