I’m a Project Scheduling and Management Specialist with more than thirty years experience in project control with specific experience in Information Technology, Defence, Business Process Improvement (BPI), Business Intelligence (BI) and several Major Crown Projects. My expertise covers the development and maintenance of Project Work Breakdown Structures (PWBS), Organization Breakdown Structures (OBS), and Responsibility Assignment Matrices (RAM). My experience also covers the development and maintenance of project management plans, project budgets, resource loaded WBS based Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules, application release integration / management, Cost/Schedule Performance Management System (CSPMS) / Earned Value System, cost/schedule analysis, and the preparation and submission, on an on-going basis, of project cost/schedule status reports for small and large, complex multi-disciplinary projects. I have developed and conducted briefings to Senior Management to communicate project cost / schedule status and make recommendation in relation to work-around and remedial action plans. I have also trained project personnel in the application of a large variety of project management software systems. I’m a strong project planning and control specialist who has worked in both self-directed and team-oriented environments. Other expertise includes: Risk / Issues Management which includes identifying risk / issue items, developing mitigation strategies, risk / issues reporting and maintaining risk databases, Change Management, assessing cost / schedule / technical impacts for all identified change and maintaining change control log, and development of Project Dashboards indicating the health of the project concerning finances, project / release schedules / deliverables, risk / issues and any other information available.I’m fluently bilingual in both official languages and I posses a security clearance at the Secret level and have my PMP Certification.
