Since graduating in 2005 I have been working with AECOM (formerly Scott Wilson), in multiple offices and sites across the globe. I am now based in Basingstoke UK where I am a key member of the Ports and Marine Team.I have extensive experience in maritime projects both in the design office and on site. Key design capabilities include, container terminals, revetments, quay walls, boat ramps, transhipments facilities, jetties, dredging and reclamation.On site I have supervised many major projects including; full time site placements on a new nearshore oil discharge berth in Angola and repair works in the Devonport Dockyard in the UK.In addition to the specialised maritime works I have experience in other areas of civil and structural design. While in the UK I worked with the structures team on new build and modification projects and more recently has designed foundations for the camp at a remote Western Australian mine.I am an accredited project manager under the URS Internal Training and Certification Scheme and I am responsible for technical, financial, contractual and resource management for many of the projects in the department. I have gained chartered member status with both Engineers Australia and the Institution of Civil Engineers UK.
