I am an undergraduate researcher in the Stony Brook University subgroup of the Darklight experiment at TRIUMF. This research group explores dark matter on the frontier of precision, specifically focusing on the search for a fifth force carrier candidate.

The Condor Array Telescope research group conducts innovative research in the realms of observational cosmology and astrophysics. As an undergraduate researcher in this research group, I contributed to the search for Earth-sized exoplanets around white dwarf stars, by using the transit method. Ultimately, this research group gifted me my first research experience, and allowed me to gain an idea of what research looks like.

I was selected as one of eight undergraduate students to conduct summer research at North Carolina State Univerity as part of the Computation and Data Science in Astrophysics (CDSA) program. My research focused on supernova neutrinos passing through the Earth. Through this research experience, I improved my coding skills, gained knowledge of astronomy, practiced reading and presenting academic papers, learned about writing research proposals, and learned about effective science communication. Ultimately my research experience culminated with a poster presentation at the NC State Summer Symposium and a public talk at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.
