Dan had full P&L responsibility and directly managed a team of senior operating executives as the Chief Executive Officer of Major Energy Services, LLC, a leading retail electric and gas company operating in 11 states. He was primarily responsible for setting the strategic direction, growing the profitability of the company and managing all high-level corporate relationships (banking, regulatory, shareholders, large customers and vendors) while reporting to the Board of Directors. Dan's leadership resulted in sales growth and the sale of Major Energy to Spark Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPKE). After the sale of the company, Dan remained as CEO of Major Energy for a period of time.

Dan advised mostly growing middle market commercial clients in connection with legal matters including complex financings, mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing, real estate and corporate transactions. He has also represented and invested in entrepreneurs, emerging-growth companies and privately held companies as well as private investment funds in a variety of transactions.

One of four founding members that formed and operated a life insurance premium finance loan originator, which also owned and managed portfolios of premium finance loans for it's own account as well as for institutional investors. Dan led the operations team in all aspects of business execution. Ibex sold its assets to Credit Suisse in a private transaction in early 2008.
