Partnered with staff from the Cornell Cooperative Nassau County Extension and the Zucker School of Medicine to promote lifestyle medicine through educational interventions in the Roosevelt community, with an end goal of lowering childhood obesity rates.

Studied the mechanics behind the Black Hole Illusion by observing its effects on participant’s eye movements. Guided by professors from SUNY Downstate.

Conducted research on the differences in biodiversity at the different mounds in Freshkills Park. Guided by professors from the College of Staten Island.

Took additional courses in biochemistry and organic chemistry at Columbia University through the SHP program.

- Participated weekly in community service events such as park pick-ups, fundraisers, as well as community garden management.-Led a ten person team in a local fundraiser that brought in over 500 pounds of food.-Conducted independent research regarding the population density of spotted lanternflies in different areas of Staten Island.
