At Gainesville Regional Utilities I am within the Strategic Planning unit of the Water/Wastewater Department, conceptualizing capital projects, future improvements to infrastructure, facilitating new development, data visualization, and aiding in the initial designs to repairs to current water distribution and wastewater collection/reclamation facilities. At the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, I have worked across several biological control projects at differing scales, adapting and refining standard operating procedures to increase efficiency in both laboratory and field settings. These projects have the end goal of naturally suppressing harmful invasive species in Florida that cause severe damage to the state's agriculture industry and ecosystems.
