Accomplishing three active duty deployments onboard HMAS Melbourne, my function of Aircraft Controller (ASAC) was to safely implement the tactical employment of Anti-Submarine Anti-Surface aircraft as required by Command in both the operational and training environment. Notably, under my control, HMAS Melbourne’s helicopter S-70B-2 completed all tasked missions successfully, safely and efficiently.

Responsible for the collection, correlation and dissemination of sensor information, in order to create an accurate and timely tactical picture that enables Command to make sound tactical decisions. During my time as CSO-U, I navigated two active duty deployments, whilst also committing to the additional roles of Ship's Diver and Boarding Party within international waters - receiving the Commanding Commendation.
