  Nicor Gas, Distribution & Transmission Projects, ILSenior design engineer for more than 300 natural gas distribution and transmission projects including public improvements, system improvements, main replacements and new business. These projects total approximately 371,000 feet of gas main with an estimated cost of more than $25,000,000. Successful negotiation with highway and other street and roadway authorities involving thousands of feet of main has saved Nicor Gas, an estimated $1,605,000 in main adjustment costs.Projects include aquifer storage, regulation and processing station projects with pipeline heaters, pig launchers and receivers and related equipment. Prepared capital budgets and estimates, managed field employees, worked with maintenance and new construction. Interfaced with state, county, city and other government agencies. Worked as an engineer, senior engineer and supervisory engineer.Nicor Gas, Station Replacement and Upgrade Projects, ILReplaced existing multiple orifice plate meter runs with clamp-on ultrasonic metering system for flow control. Also added station isolation and main line valves and heating and regulation system.Upgraded storage field saline reinjection systems and an evaporator system.Nicor Gas, Troy Grove, Aquifer Storage Station De-bottlenecking & Dehydration, ILIncreased station throughput and added two glycol contactor towers with two associated reconcentrators and flares. New equipment increased dehydration capacity by a total 250 MMCFD.
