Working directly under the Associate Vice Chancellor of Facilities Planning and Management to create a comprehensive inventory of sustainability initiatives and partnerships across a department with 1100 employees and a 230 million dollar budget. Responsible for interviewing and collaborating with academic researchers, facilities directors, and student organizations in data collection and project qualification. Managing the creation of an online, interactive database that will increase visibility of institutional initiatives. Co-authoring magazine and peer reviewed articles on the efforts to translate tactical management activities into strategic organizational assets supporting sustainability.

Working in an interdisciplinary team of engineers and biologists designing a trout stream and wetland restoration. Developing geomorphological assessment, watershed hydrologic analysis, and land survey using state of the art equipment. Developing GIS layers for site assessment and modeling inputs. Integrating the engineering, science, and art behind riparian and wetland restoration.

Taught sections in applied ecology, pattern language, and organic production both in classroom and field settings. Successfully facilitated a multi-generational learning environment. Helped to redefine the mission, vision, and strategic plan for a small 501(c)(3). Oversaw manager, vendor board, and structure of Telluride Farmer’s Market (grossing 500k annually). Fundraised for community based food projects including 4 regional community gardens and multiple school greenhouse programs. Successfully applied for numerous program and development grants and fostered continuing support from donors and foundations. Tactfully supported a spectrum of socioeconomic communities and projects throughout the watershed.
