My responsibilities include:Strategic Advising: I play a pivotal role in guiding and advising the Business Unit Director and the Board of Directors on critical decisions and the approval of investment budgets, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.Comprehensive Review: I review budget and investment proposals from technical, economic, environmental, and legal perspectives, critically assessing risks and opportunities to ensure sustainable and profitable future use.Financial Oversight: I supervise the correct and responsible expenditure of funds by cooperating parties, ensuring compliance with joint account agreements and cooperation agreements.Strategic Development: I develop and implement strategies for the assets within my portfolio, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, monitoring progress, and actively influencing and supporting our partners to achieve optimal outcomes.

I was responsible for the reservoir modelling of CO2 storage in the P18 fields for PORTHOS, a Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project in the Netherlands. Technical work includes History Match of the depleted gas fields (ECLIPSE), compositional/thermal reservoir simulation of the CO2 injection (GEM) and generic reservoir engineering work, such as Rate and Pressure Transient Analyses (RTA and PTA), required as input for the application for storage licenses. I am currently involved in the development of the WRFM and other operational related issues as part of the FEED.

I have been involved in different projects in the Oil & Gas business; specially for offshore non-operated ventures (NOV) in the North Sea. Topics I have been involved are mainly related to gas production forecasting using both Rate and Pressure Transient Analyses (RTA and PTA), reserves and resources reporting using the SPE Petroleum Resources Management System (PRMS-2018) and production monitoring and reporting to the EBN board of directors.

Secondment at Wintershall Noordzee in order to obtain operational experience. Working actively on the project: "Modelling of recovery and performance of a Southern North Sea offshore field". The main purpose of the project is the history match of the open hole DST using reservoir modelling (Petrel) and reservoir simulation (Eclipse 100).During these 2 months I followed closely the drilling of one exploration well (offshore experience included) and contributed partially to the planning of a development well.

MSc. graduation thesis project “Synergy between geothermal and stranded oil fields to add value to geothermal projects”. Involves the construction of a geological model for a Dutch onshore heavy oil field from seismic interpretation, performing reservoir simulations for the thermally enhanced oil recovery process and developing the economic analyses of the coproduction of oil and geothermal energy. The project is seen as an alternative for commercial feasibility for stranded oil fields and to achieve subsidy independence for geothermal projects. Intensive use of PETREL E&P Software Platform (seismic interpretation, geological modelling, reservoir engineering and simulation cores) and ECLIPSE Industry Reference Reservoir Simulator (E100 and E300).
