As a legislative aide for Financial Executives International, I conducted in-depth research and analysis of current law and proposed legislation to assess its implications for businesses and the people that run them. I was principally responsible for investigating the provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act as well as Title X provisions of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform act as it relates to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I wrote two articles for FEI's website as well as their trade publication, Financial Executive, to help keep their membership apprised of legislative and regulatory events in Washington D.C.
