• Apply technical knowledge to microscopically detect evidence of malignancy and other cellular changes.• Performs Rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) for radiological guided FNAs (EBUS/Navigational/CT/US).• Serve as a LIS trainer/super-user, delivered end-user training to technical and professional staff.• Train, operate and troubleshoot complex laboratory instruments and maintain laboratory records.

The Anatomic Pathology Manager has the overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, evaluation, and supervision of all technical and/or operational activities and non-pathologist staff members in an Anatomic Pathology laboratory. Individual must possess the ability to drive high quality results in a safe working environment. Individual must value integrity and operate the Anatomic Pathology laboratory in an efficient, economical and businesslike manner.

Performs test on pap smear and non-gyn material for cancer cells, bacteria, parasites, and other abnormalities.Records results in the computer and generates a final report for the physician.Is accessible to provide on-site, telephone, or consultation to resolve technical problems as they arise according to policy and procedures set forth by PCG Molecular.Maintains test results, quality control and quality assurance records, and all other records by CAP, CLIA, and the State of Georgia in accordance with their standards and those of PCG Molecular.
