I am an Electrical Construction Rep. for the Lost Hills field at Oxy-California Heavy Oil. My tasks include contractor supervision and cost control, quality assurance and quality control, design review, construct-ability review and job planning.I work closely with our procurement team and place material orders and assist with material flow. My daily tasks were to track job progress, material flow and man-hours. I supervised electrical construction on multiple simultaneous jobs. I installed new undergrounds for oil wells. I troubleshot electrical on drilling rigs and portable generator houses. Built and designed new generator houses. I built pump skids, helped design and automate Waste Water Facilities and installed L.A.C.T. units. I troubleshot wells and motor control circuits in all applications. Installed PLC’s and motor.

Aided in the daily duties of the Electrician and learned the trade hands-on. Pulled wire, dug ditches, learned to run stainless steel tubing, bent and installed conduit and raceways, installed enclosures and terminated wire.
