Supervised a team of 5 responsible for: -Evaluating significant/unusual transactions for compliance with U.S. GAAP. Areas of focus included M&A, capital market transactions and revenue recognition.-Administration and financial reporting for share-based compensation and postretirement plans.Oversaw effort to adopt ASC 606, including updating of policies and implementation of revised processes/controls.As a newly formed company, led the effort to develop and implement a comprehensive set of accounting policies and controls.Supporting Corporate Development efforts, including diligence on M&A activities, purchase accounting, preparation of pro-forma financial statements and oversight of post-acquisition integration activities.Reason for leaving: Merger with General Dynamics in 2018

Audit experience includes SEC Filings, US GAAP and IFRS financial statements, comfort letters and regulatory compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.Worked internationally as an Audit Manager in the KPMG Amsterdam (the Netherlands) office for approximately 3 years.
