I’m a hard working, passionate and confident Training Delivery Manager currently working within the Learning Team at Britain’s Busiest Airport, London Heathrow. I have worked within the aviation industry since 2015, starting as an operational security officer. My main responsibilities were screening of passengers, staff and their personal baggage as directed by the DfT/CAA. More stringent measures are in place at LHR so the security standards I was trained, were to a higher standard than the national requirement. My other responsibilities were protecting the CPSRA within Terminal 4 by patrolling and allowing access to those who required entry into the restricted area. Customer service and professionalism were also key responsibilities in my role, which I pride myself in my high standards.I moved into the role of Resource Allocator, still within LHR T4 in January 2017. My main responsibilities were managing officer deployment across the terminal, including ensuring working time and health and safety regulations were adhered to at all times. People management skills and engagement with senior management and stakeholders were also a vital part of the role. In January 2019 I was successful in my application to become an Aviation Security Trainer, the position which I currently occupy. In this role I am responsible for compliance training and monitoring. I have lead courses varying from Officer Initial training to Aviation Security Management courses. I have also had the exciting opportunity to recently learn CT-X-ray operations and to teach existing officers this new technology and new processes. In December 2022, I earned promotion to my current role of Training Delivery Manager. In this role, I’m directly responsible for a team of 15 Security Trainers. Also, acting as Duty Training Manager, I oversee a wide range of both security and services training on a daily basis. As well as this, I specialise in rostering and planning, working alongside the Learning Operations Planning team, ensuring all planned training is completed where possible. I have also built a strong working relationship with senior leaders and stakeholders across both operational and non-operational departments.I have a passion for compliance, learning, regulations and people and take great pride in my attention to detail and people management skills.Development courses I have previously completed are Emergency First Aid at work, Level 3 Award in Education and Training, COTEC Recognition of Firearms and Explosives and Aviation Security Management Level 3.
