Engineering Compliance And Assurance Surveyor
CurrentThe job role involves :• Understanding the company's business and its operations, paying particular attention to aircraft safety, airworthiness and regulatory compliance. • Performing internal/external audits both in the UK and overseas, producing detailed reports and raising associated findings when required within specified time frames following the activity.• Processing finding responses resulting from internal/external audits.• Processing and recommendation for the issue of UK CAA Part-145, Part-147, Part-CAMO/M and Flight Crew Authorisations including accomplishment of any related Compliance and Assurance review board. • Performing Engineering Safety Occurrence Report investigations when required.• Acting as the departmental focal point for projects within engineering departments.• Reviewing, amending and developing departmental procedures and manuals.• Representing the department at meetings.• Providing training and briefings on Compliance and Assurance activities.• Assisting with Compliance and Assurance enquiries from around the organisation.• Liaising with National Aviation Authorities on matters of regulatory compliance.• Acting as a focal for Nation Aviation Authority audits including the processing and reviewing of findings raised.
