I was an EA (Event associate) for 5 months when I began working this job. I was involved in setting up rooms and event spaces for the Student Activities Center, I covered some of my colleagues' shifts if I was less busy or did not have any plans that day. I also set up for the events if the Events Associates were not around or enough to finish big setups.I, as well as the Events Associates, made sure that any event that was going on during our shift was well maintained and set up according to what the customer wanted them to be. Then when the event was done, we typically cleaned and set up the room for the next event, but if there wasn't another afterward, it was left and taken care of by the next manager on Duty.I respected and appreciated all my co-workers. I worked as an associate with the On-campus housing at the University of Louisville along with being an EA for The SAC, Student Activities Center. I did this because I needed to grow my skills and working for both of them side by side taught me a lot in the months I worked there. I resigned from this job due to a personal setback in school and my health but I became better and I am grateful for the experience it gave me.

Loved the Job. Nothing more I can say other than Chick-Fil-A gave me the push I needed to strive to succeed. But, I would say I was an excellent breader/cook that worked 5 days a week, picked up open shifts during my free time, and covered shifts for my co-workers if they were unable to make it that day.

Started this first job to gain knowledge of what it is like working as an International Student in America. Was a worthwhile month in my opinion, where I learned about food safety, and inventory management, and I wouldn't change a thing.
