Director of Facilities Management for 650-acre site including both residential, commercial, athletic and agricultural property types.Responsible for ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and local building and life safety codes.Responsible for all capital and annual facilities expenditures in excess of $500,000.Direct oversight of all contracts with outside vendors providing services to Bethesda's Physical Plant. Schedule and oversight of personnel, activities pertaining to physical plant, cattle operation.Developed a long-term maintenance plan that would maintain fiscal responsibility while bringing our physical plant into the new energy-efficient era. Developed strategies for becoming more energy-efficient while maintaining budget parameters resulting in significant cost reduction.Developed database for tracking maintenance needs and expenditures to ensure future budgetary compliance.Implemented new business models for Bethesda's Cattle Farm Operation, successfully reducing cost while increasing revenue.Directed by the President to lead implementation of new business practices pertaining to the revenue-generating Enterprises of Bethesda Academy including: Organic Farm & Garden, Beef Cattle Operation, Wildlife Management, Corporate Rentals, Weddings and Receptions.
