Masters Thesis Title - Super-resolution microscopy of ciliary proteins for the diagnosis of Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD). Involved laboratory work focusing on immunofluorescence of ciliary proteins, high-speed video microscopy, conventional microscopy, high-resolution microscopy using a Zeiss LSM 980 with Airyscan 2 microscope and image analysis with ImageJ.

Summer position between June to August 2016, June to August 2017 and part-time position from June 2018 to August 2019. I was involved in the selling of high end products, selling of tickets with add-ons, processing of tour group admissions and stock control.

Dissertation project title - In vivo investigation on the thoracic toxicity of volcanic fibres (Pele's Hair). This involved conducting in vivo fibre studies, electron paramagnetic resonance experiments, ELISA, transmission electron microscopy and plasmid DNA assays.

Responsible for a small team of students that were involved in the organisation of the National Saltire Awards ceremony. I also co-hosted and led the ceremony, giving out awards to distinguished volunteers in Scotland.

I was involved in producing original content for the charity that would increase their social media presence and would encourage more young people to volunteer within Edinburgh in Scotland.
