Using geological and engineering information I mapped several step-out areas based on the recovery technology constraints of Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD), Cyclic Steam Stimulation (CSS) and Cyclic Solvent Process (CSP) within the Clearwater Formation.

Using core and well log observations I consistently subdivided the Colony, McLaren and Waseca Formations within Repsol’s Chauvin Core Area. Evaluated economic potential of the reservoir and produced hand contoured pay maps incorporating depth converted seismic maps to locate structural traps.

Committee Bay, Baker Lake, Nunavut And Edmonton Alberta, Canada

Explored the Committe Bay Greenstone Belt for economic gold deposits. Responsible for quick but accurate lithology descriptions, sulfide percentages within boulder samples and consistent till sampling methods. Helped coordinate small groups of geology summer students and reported quality samples to head geologists to help direct drilling.

Nordegg Area, Alberta, Canada

Organized and conducted an eight-day field research project focused on measuring and analyzing the sedimentology and ichnology of the Stephen Formation in the Nordegg area. Data collected was further analyzed at the University of Alberta which amalgamated into my Honors Undergraduate Thesis.

Sunset Lake, Northwest Territories, Canada

I received training and field experience in geological mapping from the Northwest Territories Geological Survey during the NWT University of Alberta 2016 field school. The first portion of the field school consisted of mapping a six-square kilometer area, at 1:10000, of the Archean Beaulieu River Greenstone Belt bedrock geology in search for base metals.
