After my firm Power Solutions was asset acquired by Tech II Business Services I assumed the role VP of IT Services. At the time of the acquisition the convergence of voice and data (VOIP) were the industries hot topic.My responsibilities:• Building businesses IT best practices• Formalizing IT approved configurations• Building and managing the IT engineering team• Evaluation and establishing channel partnership programs• Lead for all customer discovery and presentations• Lead for all IT sales activities• Early adopter of Kaseya RMM platform

My passion for helping businesses with their technology, combined with experiences gained as a Field Engineer provided me with a platform to found Power Solutions. The business model was that of a traditional Value Added Reseller and Systems Integrator. Literally started the business on a few hundred dollars out of a spare room in an apartment where my girlfriend (now loving wife) resided. Looking back now on my rewarding experience, I realize the undertaking was far more challenging than I would have ever anticipated. While I retained the lead engineering role for the entire life cycle of Power Solutions, much of my time was devoted to technical sales, administrative and other business related activities.

Field Engineer for Eastman Kodak’s (CESD) Customer Equipment Service Division. My responsibilities included installation, service and support of business computer systems. CESD Field Engineers in my category were tasked with traditional Rack and Stack of all networking, servers, and workstations. I was promoted to the nationwide Cobra Team, a select group of systems engineers who were the front line for training on new products. Cobra Team members where selected in part based on geography and skill set, they were a service regions "go to" for escalations as well as field training. In 1995 I made the Masters Club, at the time, was the youngest Field Engineer to achieve this 100% customer satisfaction award.

Started as an apprentice Electrical Technician for the precision machine products division. My electronics degree, combined with electrician & construction experience were invaluable as we built manufacturing systems. Within twelve months was promoted to team lead for several projects.

Throughout high school and college (nights, weekends, breaks and summers) I worked in our family owned general contracting business. I was able to gain experience in all capacities including drafting & design of houses and additions, quoting projects, masonry, framing, mechanical, siding, roofing, finish and most any other aspect of residential construction. While in college my main responsibility was that of my father’s primary Electrician.
