I was in practice as a general surgeon for 6 years before deciding to dedicate my career to the treatment of breast disease. I believe in using a patient centered approach and evidence based medicine to improve patient care and the patient experience. While practicing general surgery I also have been involved in multiple hospital committees. This led to my election as vice chief of surgery in Owosso and chief of surgery in South Haven.
