As a Technical Consultant with Esri, I typically play the role of Technical Lead on engagements alongside a Project Manager, where I guide a team to help implement a solution for our customer. This includes turning customer requirements into technical implementation plans, escalating issues to technical leadership at to resolve roadblocks, and helping to manage technical risk as it relates to the project.Below are a few examples from the past year where I was Technical Lead on a project:- We implemented a Statewide Election Monitoring Solution for the 2020 US Presidential Election. Election staff had a real-time view of wait times at polling locations around the state, and were able to report and respond to issues at poll sites in a map-centric user interface. - We launched a site using ArcGIS Hub for a national statistics agency which allowed dissemination of datasets and information products, like Web Applications and Dashboards, surfacing datasets relevant to the COVID-19 pandemic- We launched a map-centric experience for users in a major global city to find COVID-19 vaccination sites near them. We built a custom application using the ArcGIS API for JavaScript and integrated with 3rd party APIs to pull in real-time vaccine availability data. In addition to the project work above, this position has given me the opportunity to lead a variety of workshops and technical consulting with users in State and Local Governments, NGOs, Utilities, and the Private Sector, both in the US and internationally. As a Technical Liaison for the department, I also maintain relationships with core software development teams, supporting testing efforts and bringing back requirements for future releases of the software products. I have presented work at annual conferences and at C-level briefings

I designed and developed a map for the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area, a beautiful tract of 16,000 acres located in the Green Mountains of Central Vermont. My responsibilities included:-managing and updating spatial data in ArcGIS-designing a web-based map using the web cartography tools CartoCSS and TileMill -creating interactive features using the Mapbox JavaScript library-developing a mobile application with geolocation for use by Android devices

-Taught intensive English classes to both youth and adult students. -Created lesson plans for both the beginner youth class and the advanced adult class.-Worked one on one to teach occupation-specific English with adults in the tourism industry.

During my time at the Center for Political and Environmental Research at UNSAM, I aided a team of researchers studying the management of solid waste, landfill, and informal collection of trash in the metropolitan region of Buenos Aires.-Researched, organized, and summarized information relevant to the topic-Attended forums and presentations on various environmental issues in the city-Designed and created a series of maps and graphics depicting flows of garbage through the regionMy maps and graphics have been incorporated into presentations and publications by the UNSAM team.

I led the Siegel JCC Sharks Swim Team for two summers.-organized swim meets and assisted parent volunteers-planned practices and taught swim lessons In our 2013 season, the team improved to the best win/loss record we've had in a decade, along with record numbers of swimmers qualifying for league championships.

In addition to lifeguarding, I taught group swim lessons at the Siegel JCC day camp.
