Engineer responsible for customer facing issues. In this role I developed and successfully tested multiple designs to fulfill customer challenges. The main focus of this role was an expert in metal-to-metal annulus sealing technology. This role required a deeper understanding of the technology, developing standard methods of analysis and testing for future seal designs.> Worked with the Commercial team to develop next generation requirements for annulus seal technology.> Developed new design features to allow for higher sealing robustness and larger lockdown loads.> Created a development journal providing a systematic approach and understanding for future engineers.> Launched subscale testing to develop the department's understanding of interface requirements.

Edison Engineering Development Program in General Electric is a rotational leadership program. Over a 2.5 year program I rotated through 3 roles in different products/disciplines to quickly develop myself as a valuable engineer. In addition to my full-time roles I pursued a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech's Distance Learning program.> Developed multiple fatigue/fracture analysis sets to reduce manufacturing scrap.> Member of New Product Introduction (NPI) team developing a new metal-to-metal annulus seal for Subsea application.> Lead engineer for multiple testing programs performed on NPI annulus seal.> Developed understanding of Subsea Production PODs as a service engineer> Interfaced with multiple customers and rigs to troubleshoot/resolve in field issues
