Responsible and accountable to the Vice President, Facilities Development & Project Management for the management of various capital projects associated with the implementation of the University Health System Master Facility Plan (MFP). Provides professional architect or engineering skills and project management expertise relative to health care, facilities projects, project schedules, and budgets. Responsible for MFP project coordination with contractors, consultant/vendors and hospital/medical staff. Ensures that capital project management processes and reporting enables University Health System to complete the MFP and other projects on time and within budget. Effectively protects the Health System’s interests in capital projects and, working collaboratively with budget and finance staff, ensures appropriate fiscal controls for capital projects for presentation to senior leadership of the Health System.

Eagle Ford

Managed the logistics to project completion of 32 capital projects to include estimating, scheduling, hiring, budgeting, and project closeout. Scheduled and expedited delivery of all materials to job sites, tracked and managed project costs analysis and coordinated with corporate management, facilitated productive relationships with both vendors and jobsite personnel. Maintained and developed mutually beneficial relationships with project clients to ensure project success. Project budgets ranging from $200,000 to $7,000,000.

Eagle Ford

Created key relationships with construction managers and key large vendors in the Eagle Ford Shale to insure corporate revenue. Planned and budgeted new projects with responsible personnel and ensured project completion on time, within budget, and to the external customer’s satisfaction. Project budgets ranging from $25,000 to $2,500,000.

As the first sales representative in the Eagle Ford I was able to secure numerous contracts with construction contractors as well as productions companies. While creating key relationships with customer representatives my responsibilities also included managing projects and employees to ensure on time and on budget completion.

Developed and provided monthly cost analysis to both internal and external customers utilizing Oracle. Worked in conjunction with on-site project management to ensure vendor compliance to negotiated contract specifications. Created and negotiated new vendor master service agreements. Project budgets exceeding $1,000,000,000.
