Background at several different areas: engineering projects, production department (chemical industry), R&D and process safety.Nitro Química – R&D Engineer and Process Safety Leader (Feb/15 until Feb/17): R&D Engineer - Developing and scaling up production lines for the new products (new varnishes andresins), providing the whole connection between the R&D Lab and the Production Department. Tasks: following every Lab development, projecting pilot systems, doing risk analysis for the newfacilities, testing planning and leading scale up process. Process Safety – heading the company process safety plan, which involves: units risk analysis(HAZOPs, what/if, etc...), management of change, safety trainings, process auditory, reporting safetyKPIs and more.Nitro Química - Production Department (Aug/11 untill Feb/15): Several different projects: energy and water consumption optimization, wastewater reuse, studyingnew trends and technologies for equipments, developing ways for increasing productivity andquality improvements.Nitro Química - Engineering Department – (May/07 a Aug/11): Background at the entire project lifecycle (conception, project developing, construction and startups). As a process engineer, worked at several different projects, such as: wastewater reuse at thefactories, selecting and installing a boiler, inventory of greenhouse gases emission, revamp of theethanol distillation system, installing a gas scrubber and many others.

Intern at the Quality Assurance Departament. Responsable for two projects: 1) improvements at the margarine transport cycle; 2) Development of the "Quality KPIs", to evaluate the quality level of the ice-cream transport.

Internship at the Production Department, it was the first contact to a chemical industry routine. At that time was developed a project aiming the optimization of the “Flaker” equipment, the final step before packaging the product.
