I am a student at All Star Code, a non-profit organization that prepares young men of color for careers in technology. I am also pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science at the University of Mount Union, where I expect to graduate in December 2024. My core competencies include computer programming, web development, and problem-solving.As part of my participation in All Star Code, I learned basic programming skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and completed a 6-week summer intensive at the University of Pittsburgh. There, I worked with a team of peers and mentors to create a web application that showcases our personal and professional profiles. I also participated in professional development workshops and networked with industry professionals. Through this experience, I developed a passion for technology and a desire to use my skills to create positive social impact. I believe that I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, and contribute to the organization's culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusion.
