I enjoy working with students, both young and old, in the process of unleashing their educational potential. My students come to me with a variable range of skills and abilities, and it is my ultimate goal to help facilitate a rich learning environment that maximizes the acquisition of new skills, ideas, and concepts. I frequently network with local businesses to provide as many resources possible so that my students have a well-rounded learning experience that extends beyond my classroom. Experiential learning is paramount; which is why I seek to educate in environments outside of a school and encourage exploration through hands-on, tactile learning. Along with teaching for the last 10 years, my past experience working with the United States Peace Corps and other local Human Services have provided me with ample experience working with people, and has made me a marketable candidate to lead large group activities that require time management and public speaking.
