My passion for Engineering and Design started at a young age on my Grandparent’s drive; with the help of my Grandfather I would spend Sunday afternoons crafting ever more intricate items using the tools he had in the shed.This passion carried me through school and university to Dyson where I started my career 11 years ago. During my time in industry I have taken many projects from concept to production; acquiring a number of patents for the innovative designs I have worked on across the world.I have recruited, developed and lead successful teams of engineers who are simultaneously working on multiple class leading technologies. I have developed national test standards, worked closely with universities to conduct quantitive data studies and spent time developing manufacturing equipment, processes and production lines.Opting to take on a new challenge I joined the Dyson Automotive project, unfortunately, despite a truly unique engineering offering, it too proved uneconomic to reach the market. Most recently I have been working as a Principal Engineer for an innovative new dialysis technology startup in Singapore, which has enabled me to experience product development in 3 different major industries.Travel and the outdoors are two of my biggest passions, which is why my work has taken me all around the world. Now, following the ongoing uncertainty as a result of the recent global events and a change in my personal situation I have returned to the UK to seek out my next challenge.
