In the past Daniel Bedard has designed, operated and maintained the MEGALIFTER® for MEGATRACTION EQUIPMENT as an external consultant.Since 2012, he joined the company as Operation Manager.Megatraction Equipment Inc. is the Canadian-based company that has brought to the mining industry the very first 100% safe lifting system designed for the maintenance of production mining shovels. Since 1997, the MEGALIFTER® has been the method of choice for even the most safety oriented operations across the world. The amazing patented technology has been used to perform critical maintenance on shovels of about any type and size. The equipment provides mines with an effortless and totally safe way of lifting the upper part of any production shovel to extract the car body. Maintenance becomes possible on parts otherwise very difficult or impossible to access such as roller path, center pin, ring gear, etc. Welding of frame cracks can also be achieved and is perhaps one of the easiest maintenance tasks performed with the use of the MEGALIFTER®.
