Talent Acquisition Specialist
Current• Manage full life cycle recruitment process for Orbital's Heavy Industrial Engineering, Asset Integrity, Technical Innovation, and Corporate Divisions• Frequent skill sets include Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Civil and Structural Engineers, GIS Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, Project/Program Managers, Inspectors, CAD and Piping Designers• Source, review, screen, interview, evaluate, and present candidates to hiring managers• Apply several different sourcing methods to positively identify candidates, such as Boolean Searches• Utilize professional social media platforms and job boards to source, communicate, attract, and recruit candidates• Schedule interviews with hiring managers and provide guidance throughout the interview process• Daily use of Orbital’s CRM system (UKG) and LinkedIn Recruiter• Manage job slot utilization and budget on Job Boards, such as Indeed and LinkedIn• Consult on offer details, provide industry data and research, and support all pre-employment onboarding procedures (reference checks/background checks) while working directly with the HR Team• Coordinate and promote the internal employee referral program• Develop and execute talent pipeline strategies, including partnering with schools, colleges/universities, Handshake, training programs, organizations, and industry partnerships• Attend speaking events, job/career fairs, and organizational events related to talent acquisition• Provide regular Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) Reports and communicate regularly with hiring managers on the status of candidates, job postings, and current/future recruitment needs• Obtained AIRS Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC)
