Specific Responsibilities:The primary responsibilities will be to manage multiple simultaneous construction projects of various size and complexity in an ISO regulated biotechnology manufacturing environment.Tasks include:• Communicating and managing changes to design objectives with the planners, architect, engineer, and/or general contractor,• Engaging and partnering closely with facility operations and engineering leaders to align the project deliverables to the regional business needs,• Contemplating and incorporating the lifecycle management needs of equipment and spaces into design documents and built environment,• Creating schedules and managing all aspects of project design, management, and inspecting all installed work to assure compliance with plans and specifications, throughout the entire project,• Delivering the project according to budget and schedule, assessing project risk and performing value engineering when needed,• Managing both Capital and Operational budget and expense accounting for projects including reporting on financial forecast, project accruals, change orders and pay applications,• Collaborating with internal key stakeholders and managing third-party consultants and vendors,• Daily operational support and other duties as needed or assigned.

The Facilities Engineer schedules, estimates and coordinates facility projects relating to the installation, relocation, and modification of plant utility systems, machinery, and infrastructure. Responsibilities include: - Develop technical specifications for assigned projects.- Establish construction budgets and timelines.- Schedule and coordinate work by outside contractors to ensure adherence to specifications, safety practices, building codes and project schedules.- Prepare estimates, schedules, purchase requisitions, and appropriations requests for assigned projects.- Assist in planning for future expansion, rearrangements, repairs and rehabilitation of existing facilities.- Participates in analysis of infrastructure design engineering problems and proposed solutions.

CRB’s engineers, architects and construction professionals are passionately focused on delivering design, construction and consulting solutions that achieve successes for our life sciences and advanced technology clients.Responsibilities:- Assist with the preparation of scopes of work for bid package development- Attend subcontractor pre-bid meetings and lead as needed/directed by the Project Manager- Assist with constructability review- Assist the Project Manager with the development of a Project Execution Plan- Direct and supervise the activities of the Planners in the performance of their duties- Supervise craft superintendents to meet construction schedules- Attend project meetings with project team and client- Attend weekly subcontractor coordination meetings, providing meeting minutes- Support with assembly of monthly status reports- Ensure that craft superintendents are trained, knowledgeable and performing at the required quality level- Participate in project kick-off meeting with local building trades- Cooperate with Client and representatives to keep them informed of construction progress- Assist in Quality and Safety inspections- Log and track shop drawing status- Investigate field discrepancies and coordinate resolution with Engineering- Maintain As-Built drawings- Manage control of construction documentation, drawings, specifications, submittals and RFI’s- Track and coordinate issuance of design bulletins- Assist with assembly and coordination of all commitments and required information, including certificates of insurance and W9 information- Assist with change management process, including tracking potential changes and executing change orders- Assist with entry of invoicing for payment of subcontractors, sub-consultants, and vendors- Receive and inspect equipment/materials ordered by CRB- Work under Project Manager and Superintendents to learn and understand project forecasting and budgeting
